Shift Calendar Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the following apps provided by LumenWorks:
- Shift Calendar for Hyundai Steel
- Shift Calendar for LG
- Shift Calendar Plus
LumenWorks (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”) values the privacy of people who use these apps (collectively, the “App”). This policy explains what information may be processed in connection with the App’s features, advertising, backup, and alarm services.
1. Information we collect
The App does not provide account registration, and we do not separately collect direct personal information such as your name, national identification number, phone number, or address.
To provide App features, the following information may be stored on your device:
- selected shift-work patterns and work schedules
- attendance information by date
- notes and note colors by date
- overtime hours and settings used for estimated overtime-pay calculations
- hourly wage and allowance-calculation settings you enter
- display and convenience settings
- whether Google Drive automatic backup is enabled and related backup settings
- work-time alarm settings
- external-calendar display and synchronization settings, including identifiers for events created by the App
- minigame play counts, scores, high scores, progress, and audio settings
- the status and expiry time of ad-removal benefits
- internal state used to determine interstitial-ad intervals and rewarded-ad benefits
Except where stated in this policy, this information is used to provide App features and is not transmitted to our own server.
2. Purposes of use
The App processes the information described above to:
- show your shift-work calendar
- provide attendance, notes, overtime-hour, and estimated overtime-pay features
- provide work-time alarms that you configure
- display external-calendar events and synchronize App notes or work schedules when you choose that feature
- back up and restore data with Google Drive when you choose to use that feature
- save minigame progress and high scores
- display ads and apply ad-removal benefits
- provide a period of ad removal after you view a rewarded ad
- apply feature settings and operating policies
- prevent errors and maintain service stability
3. App permissions
The App may request optional permissions that are needed for features you choose to use.
A. Notifications and alarms
If you enable work-time alarms, the App may request notification permission, exact-alarm permission, and other permissions required by the operating system to deliver an alarm at the scheduled time. If you do not grant the required permissions, alarms may not work normally. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
B. Google Drive connection
If you choose Google Drive backup, Google account authorization and Google Drive access may be used to back up and restore App data. The App does not collect or store your Google Account password. Backup data is stored in the app-backup area of the Google Drive account you connect, and you can manage it through the App or your Google Account settings.
C. External calendar
If you choose external-calendar integration, the App may request calendar read and write permissions to list calendars and events or to create, update, and delete App notes or work schedules in a calendar you select. This feature is optional, and the rest of the App remains available if you do not grant these permissions. External-calendar data is also governed by the policies of your device calendar provider and any connected account.
4. Google Drive backup
The App provides Google Drive backup and restore only when you choose to use it.
- Automatic backup operates only after you enable it yourself.
- Automatic backup may run once per day.
- Up to seven backups may be retained, and you can choose a backup to restore.
- You can create a local backup manually.
- Backups may include schedules, attendance, notes, settings, and other data needed to use the App.
- We do not arbitrarily view or separately collect the contents of backup files stored in your Google Drive.
5. Advertising services
The App may use Google AdMob to provide ads for service operation. Ads may include banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads.
Google AdMob and related Google services may process certain information for ad delivery, ad-performance measurement, fraud prevention, and ad-quality improvement. The scope and method of that processing are governed by Google’s privacy policy and advertising policies.
Where applicable, the App may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show an advertising-consent or privacy-choices form. You can review or change available choices through the privacy-options entry in App settings. Consent status may be processed by Google’s consent-management service and on your device.
Under the App’s operating policy, interstitial ads may be used. Whether they are shown and the interval between them may vary according to App settings and remote configuration values. You may also receive an ad-removal benefit for a period of time after viewing a rewarded ad. The App may store the benefit status, expiry time, and the maximum period currently available on the device.
6. Ad-removal benefit through rewarded ads
When you view a rewarded ad, the App may provide a benefit that hides ads for a period of time.
- The benefit may be managed as internal App state.
- Its status, expiry time, and the maximum period currently available may be stored on the device to provide the feature.
- The App currently does not sell a paid app, in-app products, subscriptions, or a paid ad-removal pass.
- The App does not collect or store payment-method information such as card or bank-account numbers.
7. Firebase Remote Config
The App may use Firebase Remote Config to operate features and adjust service policies without requiring an App update. It may be used to configure:
- whether interstitial ads are enabled
- when interstitial ads begin to appear
- interstitial-ad intervals and daily limits
- whether rewarded ads are enabled
- the number of ad-removal days granted for a rewarded ad
- the maximum ad-removal period that may be accumulated through rewarded ads
Firebase Remote Config is not used by us to separately collect the schedules, attendance data, notes, overtime settings, or other data you enter in the App. Firebase’s own information practices are governed by Google’s privacy policy and Firebase policies.
8. Third-party services
The App may use the following third-party services:
- Google Drive: App-data backup and restore
- Google AdMob: in-app advertising, ad-performance measurement, and ad-quality management
- Firebase Remote Config: remote feature and advertising-policy settings
- Google User Messaging Platform: advertising consent and privacy-choice management
- device calendar provider: reading or writing events only for the external-calendar feature you choose
Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy and terms.

9. Retention and deletion
A. Data stored on your device
Schedules, attendance data, notes, and settings that you enter may be stored on your device. They may be deleted if you clear App data or uninstall the App.
B. Google Drive backups
If you use Google Drive backup, backup data is stored in your Google Drive. Uninstalling the App may not automatically delete data stored in Google Drive. You can manage backup data through the App or Google Drive and Google Account management tools.
C. Rewarded-ad benefit state
Information about the application and expiry of rewarded-ad ad-removal benefits may be retained for a period of time on the device to provide the feature.
D. External-calendar events
Events created by the App in an external calendar may remain in that calendar after you uninstall the App. You can manage them through the App’s synchronization features or your calendar app.
10. Sharing of personal information
We do not directly collect your personal information in order to sell it or provide it to third parties at our discretion. When you use an optional feature, third-party services such as Google Drive, Google AdMob, and Firebase Remote Config may process information under their own policies to provide that feature.
11. Children’s privacy
The App does not provide separate account registration or personal-information collection features for children under 14. If we learn that we have intentionally collected a child’s personal information, we will take the steps required by applicable law.
12. Your choices
You can manage your data and permissions by:
- editing or deleting data entered in the App
- changing whether you use Google Drive backup
- changing notification, exact-alarm, and related alarm permissions in device settings
- changing calendar read and write permissions in device settings
- reviewing or changing available advertising privacy choices in App settings
- deleting App data by uninstalling the App
- managing connected data through Google Account, Google Drive, and external-calendar tools
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when laws, App features, or third-party-service integrations change. We will provide notice of the updated policy on this page.
